On November 21^st, 2024, Somthawin Charitkuan, the Vice-president of Burapha University visited our college, toured the training labs and attended the meeting. Ji Lingbin, Deputy Party Secretary of ZJCST, hosted the meeting.

Ji Lingbin extended his warmest welcome to the guests from Thailand on behalf of ZJCST, he also introduced the school-running concept, major set-up, international cooperation and exchange of our college. Ji stated that the visit from Thailand guests offer a precious opportunity for both sides to explore international cooperation, and hoped that we could explore the cooperation models, detail the cooperation, and promote the implementation of the cooperation so as to provide a more vast platform for our teachers and students.

Somthawin gave high regards to the training labs and talent cultivation models of our college and he also introduced the basic information and goals of internationalization of Burapha University. Both parties had a deepening discussion centering on “Mandarin+E-Commerce”, skills training, students exchange, joint establishment of research institute of China-Thailand cultures and tourism, etc. We also reached to an initial cooperation intention.

The visit from Thailand party provide a new international cooperation platform for our teachers and students, and expand the “friend zone” of “Belt and Road”vocational education international cooperation. The discussion among the two parties in the field of vocational skills training and international education cooperation created a solid foundation of future cooperation, expand a more vast development space, and write a new chapter of friendship and cooperation between China and Thailand in the field of vocational education.
