On the morning of November 14th, Dauren Dyussebaye, the Vice-president of Kazakhstan International IT University (IITU), visited our college. Wen Jianfeng, Party member and Vice-president of our college and Dauren Dyussebaye signed a cooperation memo, respectively representing ZJCST and IITU.

Earlier, we have reached to an initial cooperative intention on the Cooperation Meeting of World Young Scientist Summit. On November 14th, Dauren Dyussebayev visited the “UAV+”Training Base, Safety Intelligent Monitoring System Training Base, Information Safety Production Training Base, Intelligent Equipment Training Base of our college, and had a discussion with us.

Wen Jianfeng introduced the educational concept, majors and curriculum, and the international cooperation of our college in the meeting. Wen stressed that the visit from UIIT explored a new area of international cooperation for our college, and he hoped that both sides could discuss about the details of the cooperation and promote the landing of this cooperation so as to provide a wider platform of international cooperation for our teachers and students.

Dauren Dyussebayev praised the training bases and talent cultivation model of our college, he also introduced UIIT to us. UIIT is the only university in Kazakhstan that achieved the accreditation from ASIIN in 2019. It ranks third among all universities in Kazakhstan and ranks first in the major of information security. UIIT aims to cultivate the new generation of experts in information communication technology.

Both parties discussed on major establishment, exchanges among teachers and students, research projects, and reached to an initial cooperative intention. Based on the cooperation memo, both agreed to establish “Belt and Road”cooperation in student cultivation, exchange, research projects, visits of the teachers, etc.

This signing of the cooperation memo provide a new international cooperation platform for our teachers and students, expand the “friend zone” of “Belt and Road”vocational education international cooperation. It also explore a new possibility of international cooperation in the field of vocational education for both ZJCST and UIIT.
